Bio
With deep sultry vocals that resonate so far beyond her years, Deniz Reno is a young artist whose unique brand of soul captures the attention of the new generation while still paying tribute to the Motown legends of the past. Her songs, autobiographical and unapologetically honest, make her the quintessential artist, with a rare combination of vocal and songwriting talent, earning the respect of her peers for having a hand in co-producing and engineering many of her own projects. The level of success she has enjoyed as an internationally sought after vocalist - in the past two years can not only be attributed to her talent, but to her relentless drive and unparalleled work ethic.
In the recent years, Reno has become a sought after vocalist and songwriter, her work supported by world renowned DJs like Paul Oakenfold, Marcus Schossow, Myon & Shane 54, Vanilla Ace, Animal Trainer and Mark Lower. Reno’s collaborations in House & Deep House genres have been released on Armada Records, Planet Love Records, Spirit Soul Records, Indiana Tones, Perfecto Records, Love Harder Records, Hator Records, Clubstream Sweden, Radio Record Label & Radio Record Radio (Russia) and have aired on ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Paraguay and in TV ads for Canada Philippine Fashion Week, (where Reno has been invited to walk the runway for two consecutive years in support of the Kol Hope Children's Foundation). Reno’s debut house collaboration “Higher”, released on Armada in April 2013 has been called “the next big thing to come from Armin Van Buuren's world renowned Armada music label” in reviews by BeTheRave.com and included as one of the Top 40 Summer Hits of 2013 on Armada's annual compilation. Reno co-produced the music video for 'Higher' with Armada artist and 'Planet Love' label founder York, which was shot in Antigua & Barbuda, directed by York and Anderson Andrew of Planet Love Records/Armada. In the past Reno has performed acoustic showcases internationally at acclaimed venues like the Brick & Mortar Music Hall (San Francisco), The Phoenix Concert Hall (Toronto), Ashford & Simpson's Sugarbar (NYC), The Village Underground (NYC), House of Blues (LA), Viper Room (LA), Club Masterskaya (Moscow), B.B.
